Understanding the Feed
The Feed is where you spend most of your time in Engaggit. It shows all matched Reddit posts from your scans, ranked and filtered for easy triage.
Feed Layout
Each post in the feed displays:

| Subreddit | The community where the post was found (e.g., r/marketing) |
| Interest tag | Which interest matched this post |
| Time ago | How long ago the post was created on Reddit |
| Title | The post title (clicks through to Reddit) |
| Body preview | A truncated version of the post content |
| Match reason | The AI's explanation of why this post is relevant |
| Relevance score | A visual bar showing the 0–10 AI rating |
| Sentiment badge | Positive, Neutral, or Negative |
| AI Draft | Expandable panel with the generated comment draft |
Filtering and Sorting
You can filter the feed by:
- Interest — focus on posts from a specific interest
- Sentiment — show only positive, neutral, or negative posts
You can choose how posts are ordered using the sort selector (top-right of the feed, next to the sentiment filter):

| By score (default) | Higher interest-score posts first |
| By date – recent first | Newest posts first |
| By date – oldest first | Oldest posts first |
The feed reloads automatically whenever you change the sort order.
Taking Action on Posts
Each post has action buttons:

| Dismiss | X | Remove from the active feed |
Bulk Actions
Click the burger menu (top-right of the feed) to access bulk actions:
- Bookmark all matching posts
- Resolve all matching posts
- Dismiss all matching posts
These apply the action to every post that matches the current filters, not just the ones currently visible on screen.
These are useful when a scan returns many relevant (or irrelevant) results at once.
Exporting the Feed
From the same burger menu (top-right of the feed), you can export every post that matches the current filter and sort order:

Choosing either format opens a save dialog with a default filename based on the current date (e.g., feed-2026-09-15.csv). The export includes:
- Post details (title, URL, subreddit, score, source, timestamps)
- Action state and tags
- The top-matching interest details (name, score, sentiment, reason, draft, matching keywords)
- Post body
Exports are written to the file you choose and respect the current feed filters and sorting.
Working with AI Drafts
When a post has a generated draft:
- Click "Show AI Draft" to expand the panel
- Read the suggested comment
- Copy it to your clipboard
- Go to Reddit and post the comment (manually or via your workflow)
TIP
The draft is a suggestion — always review and edit it before posting to Reddit. Make sure it reads naturally and fits the conversation.
Empty Feed
If the feed is empty after a scan, it means:
- No posts matched your relevance threshold, or
- You have not run a scan yet
Try lowering the relevance threshold in settings, or broaden your search keywords.
